About Us

Our Vision

Our festival is driven by a passionate and dedicated team who met through film events and share a deep commitment to fostering creativity. Operating independently from corporate influence, we prioritise diversity and inclusivity, creating an environment where filmmakers and writers are supported and celebrated. Our aim is to connect creatives, inspire audiences, and offer a platform that values authenticity and innovative storytelling.

What We Do

Short Film Judging

Our judges individually select and share their favourite projects, ensuring a range of perspectives and tastes are represented. These selections are then combined to curate a diverse program that spans various genres, styles, and lengths, highlighting the richness and variety in contemporary short filmmaking.

Script Competition

Our monthly short script competition is a highlight for aspiring screenwriters. Each script is reviewed by professional script readers, and winners, finalists, and semi-finalists are celebrated and given visibility. This competition aims to highlight scripts with exceptional potential and provide valuable connections with filmmakers and financiers.

Written Feedback

A feature that sets us apart from many festivals is our detailed written feedback. Filmmakers and screenwriters can receive comprehensive evaluations on various aspects such as originality, direction, performances, editing, structure and sound design. For scripts, feedback covers story/narrative/plot, character/dialogue, and the effective use of the medium.
